Masonry repair, from the chimney to the foundation
A lot of our work is on older homes: century houses, tired chimneys, stone that has to go back exactly as it was.

Caps, repairs and upper chimneys rebuilt, full teardowns and rebuilds when a chimney is past saving, and old chimneys nobody uses any more taken down brick by brick.

Heritage brick and lime mortar
Century homes need brick and mortar that match what is already there. When the original brick is no longer made, they keep looking until they find one that works.

Stone and brick work
Stone veneer, brick on a new addition, a window opening made larger, a decorative block wall in place of vinyl siding, fieldstone feature walls and fireplace surrounds.

Block foundations and parging
Block foundations, and parging that protects a foundation and makes it look new again, ICF foundations included.

- Stone removed the following week so the wood could be repaired
- The same stone put back four days later

Lyttle’s Masonry is Dallas Lyttle and Chantel Whyte, a Belleville couple. Dallas does the masonry with the crew. Chantel is usually the one who answers your call, text or email, comes out for the estimate, and works on site too.
